How do I contact an SIO Alum?
If you are an SIO alumnus/alumna, you can login and search the Classmate Locator. If you did not receive your degree for work performed at Scripps, contact sioalumnioffice@sio.ucsd.edu or call Marcelle Hawkins at (858) 822-2110. Due to privacy considerations, Scripps does not release addresses or phone numbers in response to email or phone queries.

How do I update my address and other personal and professional information?
You may enter your updates directly into this Web site by going to Personal Profile or e-mail sioalumnioffice@sio.ucsd.edu.

I am unable to access my personal profile. What should I do?
Be sure you have entered the last name used while a student at SIO and the year of your first degree if you obtained more than one. If you are unsure of the year or are still experiencing a problem, e-mailmjhawkins@sio.ucsd.edu, or call Marcelle Hawkins at 858.822.2110. It may be that we have your birth date listed incorrectly.

Why is my phone number showing in my profile? I don t think this information should be on the Internet.
No one else has access to your Personal Profile except you. This form is encrypted over the Web to block out anyone who might try to access your information. Scripps is committed to maintaining your privacy. We will never sell or pass your information on to third-party vendors. We will only use your contact information to inform you of items related to the institution or for use in mailing our Explorations magazine or Ancient Mariners newsletter, if you requested that option.
